The Research Group of Thalidomide Embryopathy of Japan is a group that conducts a wide range of studies about the issues related to the health and living conditions of thalidomide embryopathy patients, from the perspective of clinical and social medicine. The group engages in the mutual exchange of the results of these studies as well as medical information, and aims to play a useful role in the diagnosis of thalidomide embryopathy as well as in providing support for its treatment.
